    - ¼ö¸é Àå¾Ö°¡ ÀϾ±â Àü¿¡ Æò¼Ò ÇÏ·ç¿¡ ħ´ë¿¡¼­ º¸³»´Â ½Ã°£À» Á¦ÇÑÇÒ °Í (Limit daily in-bed time to the usual amount present before the sleep disturbance)
    - ÁßÃ߽Űæ°è¸¦ ÀÚ±ØÇÏ´Â ¾à¹°À» ²÷À» °Í - Ä«ÆäÀÎ, ´ÏÄÚƾ, ¾ËÄÚ¿Ã, ÀÚ±ØÁ¦µé (Discontinue CNS-acting drugs - caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, stimulants)
    - Ä¡·á·Î¼­ ³·ÀáÀ» ÀÚ´Â °æ¿ì´Â Á¦¿ÜÇÏ°í ³·ÀáÀº ÇÇÇÒ °Í (Avoid daytime naps(except when sleep chart shows they induce better night sleep))
    - ¿ÀÀü Áß¿¡ È°µ¿ÀûÀÎ ¿îµ¿ÀÇ ´Ü°èÀû ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À» ÀÌ¿ëÇÑ ½Åü¿îµ¿À» ÇÒ °Í (Establish physical fitness by means of a graded program of vigorous exercise early in the day)
    - Àú³á¿¡ ÀÚ±ØÀû ÇൿÀ» ÇÇÇÒ °Í, ¶óµð¿À¸¦ µè°Å³ª Æí¾ÈÇÑ Ã¥Àбâ·Î Ƽºñ¸¦ ´ëüÇÑ´Ù. (Avoid evening stimulation : substitute radio or relaxed reading for television)
    - ÀáÀÚ±â Àü µû¶æÇÑ ¹°·Î 20ºÐ Á¤µµ »þ¿öÇÒ °Í (Try very hot, 20-minute, body temperature-raising bath soaks near bedtime)
    - ¸ÅÀÏ ±ÔÄ¢ÀûÀÎ ½Ã°£¿¡ ½Ä»çÇÒ °Í, ÀáÀÚ±â Àü ¸¹ÀÌ ¸Ô´Â °ÍÀº ÇÇÇÒ °Í (Eat at regular times daily : avoid large meals near bedtime)
    - Àú³á¿¡ ÀÌ¿Ï ¿îµ¿À» ÇÒ °Í (Practice evening relaxation routines, such as progressive muscle relaxation or meditation)
    - ¾È¶ôÇÑ ¼ö¸é Á¶°ÇÀ» À¯ÁöÇÒ °Í (Maintain comfortable sleeping conditions)
